Principal's message

Welcome to Oyugi Ogango Girls Secondary School. Founded in 1994and sponsored by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, we are now a extra-county school. As a school focused clearly on the education of every girl-child, our teachers, coaches, and advisors understand and appreciate the nature of education. With challenging programs designed to inspire, motivate, and stretch our students, Oyugi Ogango Girls is a place where students can be themselves, develop respect for others, and learn what it means to be a educated being of true character and integrity.

Our mission at Oyugi Ogango Girls is clear – we seek To instill knowledge and sense of competion in the girl child build Exemplary character. During the time Ihave been here, I have developed a profound appreciation for and love of our students and teachers.Not forgetting Subordinate Staff. While excellence and achievement are prevalent in programs and activities across the school, it is the character of the people that defines our School – faculty who care deeply about their charges and students who give freely to one another to continually strengthen the sense of community. Education and light are two words commonly used to describe the ethos of our school. As the School motto, these terms remind us what values underpin our mission and daily work. If you visit our school you will quickly see that we have some of the strongest academic, athletic, artistic, and co-curricular programs imaginable. Our students learn from teachers who are not only leaders in their fields, but are also individuals who truly love their work.
